What is UTR?
The UTR (Universal Tennis Rating) is a global rating system that measures the performance of tennis players, regardless of their age, gender, or level. Unlike other systems, UTR is based on match results to provide an accurate assessment of each player’s skill level.

How is UTR calculated?
The UTR scale ranges from 1.00 to 16.50, with professional players achieving the highest scores. This system is used by players of all levels, making it an inclusive and essential tool.
- Level of opponents: Winning or competing closely against players with a higher UTR improves your score.
- Match competitiveness: Close match results have a positive impact on your UTR.
- Frequency of matches: Playing more matches adjusts your rating to reflect your current skill level more accurately.
